Description

The CNC lathe Biglia B 550 SM from 2005 is a versatile option for precision machining. It is equipped with a GE Fanuc Series 18i-TB CNC system. It can machine a maximum chucking diameter of 320 mm and a maximum length of 510 mm. The main spindle has a variable speed range between 40 and 4000 rpm and is equipped with a motor of power between 22 and 26 kW. The counterspindle offers the same speed performance, with a through-hole of 45 mm and a 7.5 kW motor. The turret is equipped with 12 tool positions, compatible with motorized tools that reach a maximum speed of 3000 rpm. The X and Z axis travels are 205 mm and 510 mm, respectively, with a rapid traverse speed of 20 m/min. The cooling system includes a 250-liter tank and a pump with a flow rate of 230 l/min. The lathe has overall dimensions of 4000 x 1950 x 1900 mm and a weight of 4600 kg. Considering the complexity and variety of possible uses, a detailed on-site analysis is always recommended to confirm specifications and compatibility with specific production needs.
